The all-new 2014 Nissan Altima has been given plenty of upgrades from the 2013 model. It’s still Nissan’s top-selling vehicle and is the company’s most innovative model yet. One of the biggest upgrades in the new Altima is the NissanConnect technology.
NissanConnect is a smartphone integration system for both Android and iPhones. Apps will include Online Search powered by Google and Facebook. It will also feature SiriusXM Travel Link giving weather, fuel prices, movie times and stock updates. NissanConnect also comes with navigation, Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection and Lane Departure Warning.
Also new in the 2014 Altima are revised seat cloth, enhanced noise isolation and chrome exhaust tips on all models. There’s a new Sport Value Package with 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, remote engine start and trunk lid spoiler.
There are seven different models for the 2014 Altima the 2.5, 2.5 S, 2.5 SV and 2.5 SL featuring a 182-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and the 3.5 S, 3.5 SV and 3.5 SL with a standard 270-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine. Every 2014 Altima is equipped with a standard Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission). Come test drive any of these models at Nissan of San Marcos.
