Catch A Show At The Zach Theatre

Zach Theatre

You may watch movies all the time, but there’s just something different about seeing a performance live. It’s so much more magical, and it really gets you into the moment. That’s certainly what you’ll discover when you catch a show at the Zach Theatre. There are a variety of productions going on over the next few months, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you want to go see a show on a date or are thinking about bringing your whole family along, you have to check out what’s on the calendar at this local theater. You won’t want to miss a single show.

“Hedwig and the Angry Inch”

Do you love rock music? Then you are going to adore the musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” It started showing in January, but you can still catch a performance until March 3. This performance is going to be outrageous, and it will be filled with a ton of great music along the way. However, keep in mind that some of the themes in this performance will be a bit inappropriate for younger viewers, so make sure you keep the kids at home for this one.

“Notes From the Field”

If you want to see something that’s more on the serious side, you can’t go wrong with “Notes From the Field.” This provocative play will highlight our country’s school-to-prison pipeline and the individuals that get caught up in it along the way. It’s truly a heartbreaking story, and you are almost sure to get emotional when you watch this. Again, this performance may not be ideal for younger children. It opens on Feb. 27, and you can catch performances until March 31.

It’s nice going out to the theater with other adults, but what about your kids? Don’t you want them to join in on the fun? That’s totally possible when you go to see a performance designed just for families. “Wake Up, Brother Bear” is coming on March 24, and it will continue on until May 26. This play is fun and funky, and it’s perfect for kids ages 6 and under. Therefore, you have a way to get your child interested in theater as early as possible. The whole family is going to have a great time.
